Our Newcastle region now has an excellent opportunity for a focussed sales professional who is ready for the next step and passionate about customer care solutions.
About the role
In this dynamic field based role, you will focus on prospecting new customers, maintaining relationships and developing new market segments for our compressed air service solutions.
You will have plenty of scope to make the role your own! On a typical day, you will be working with customers in many different sectors, so there is variety and opportunity for growth. From mine sites to production facilities to healthcare, many organisations need compressed air solutions so it's important you are confident introducing yourself to people at all levels.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Customer relationship management
- Developing new service agreements to grow the Customer Care business.
- Engaging with existing customers to re-sign contracts.
- Completing service tenders, sourcing information and meeting required principle deadlines.
You will enjoy being independent, whilst also being part of a well resourced team, with sales support to help you focus on what you do best.
About you
You are a successful sales professional who is looking for a fresh challenge with opportunity to progress. You appreciate the best and will thrive working with a renowned and globally recognised brand.
Whilst you do not need expertise in air compression specifically, it's important that you can demonstrate field sales experience in an industrial market place. Experience in service sales is highly desirable, however we welcome applicants who are willing to develop expertise in this area.
To be successful, you'll bring:
- 3+ years of sales experience in the mining/industrial/manufacturing sector
- Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly
- Well refined negotiating and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and deliver on revenue targets
- Computer literacy: experience with SAP or a CRM system and confidence using Excel will be of benefit.
